Vallauris · Côte d'Azur

Savoir vivre.

A private holiday villa on the hills above the Mediterranean, between Cannes and Antibes.

A house that breathes the South: olive trees in the garden, shade in the patio, and in the evening the lights of Nice on the horizon.

Villa Le Patio sits in a former olive grove above Vallauris. Days begin at the pool and end on the terrace. In between lies the whole Côte d'Azur.

The House

Provençal by character, made for light.

Built in 1993 by a Swiss architect: three bedrooms across three floors, a living room with fireplace and high gallery, a generous family kitchen and a terrace looking out over the sea.

Le Patio

The courtyard that gives the house its name.

On hot days the inner courtyard offers shade and calm. Around it: terraces and places to sit in the garden, and a wide gravel court under old olive trees.

The Setting

Between Cannes and Antibes.

Vallauris, the town of ceramics where Pablo Picasso was an honorary citizen, is the calm starting point for the whole coast. Beaches, markets and museums lie just minutes away.

The Surroundings

The coast on your doorstep.

Beaches and coves, markets and museums, villages in the hinterland. Whatever the day brings, the villa is never far.
